This is very beautiful bunt in away sad. It's weird but I noticed on a lot of abandoned places. You get this weird empty feeling that you dont get when people have something in use.

This is really amazing to see. In 2004 I was helping a friend of mine create game level for Enemy Territory, and one of my jobs was to create a small chapel. It was not exactly like this but so very close it stunned me when I saw this picture. In mine you could jump on the back of one of the rows of pews, get to the tower and ring the bell in the tower.

This place should be restored! Those stained-glass windows are beautiful, and that Art Deco style chandelier has to be worth something, too...

Sad but beautiful.
There's something about this, the look of old wood and stone floors.

qui tolis pecca ta mundi...

hah, just thinking of a Latin song with that title. abandoned places always have a mystical charm, and in this case, this church especially.

Also, wenn jetzt schon die Kirchen meines geliebten Nachbarlandes verlassen sind, bedeutet das wohl, dass die Immobilienpreise an der Grenze nicht nur für Privathäuser steigen werden ... ;-DDD
