Abandoned hotel, abandoned factory or other abandoned stuff...

I find this crazy - how can people just abandon something like this? I mean look at that furniture! It still looks in good nic! And the building itself? Gosh. I just don't understand people.

But amazing HDR man, looks really cool - would have been nice were it bigger - I'd have loved to really get a close look at some of the detail.

A bit sad. It looks like it was once beautiful. It still is, only there's nobody to appreciate it anymore. :(

Even though it is abandoned and seems to have been left to the elements, this picture makes me want to go visit it, just so that I can try to picture it in its prime. It brings to mind speakeasy music and men with pipes, or women in jeans and fluffy sweaters and cocoa curled up in the chairs in front of the fireplace.
Beautiful shot, great lighting, and I like the way the hotel itself seems to be fading to monochrome.

:3 This has all the potential to be a scene from a horror movie. :/ Though I wonder why they just left all the furniture and such... It all looks like it's in good condition.

Mental Hospitals? The ran down Victorian asylums tend to be pretty crazy. Especially since some of them were closed down for inhumane cruelty (these mostly in Europe) towards the patients, they just left a lot of the tools and equipment the doctors used... I read an article a year or two back saying they were excavating and found a four story basement. There were a bunch of corpses chained the the walls in cells.
