Yeah :O That is unless it was just one of those model homes. But you never know. I have lived in a small farm house that had a barn turned house connected to our garage. it was abandoned like this, and Creepy things happened there :O

Darum echt mal Hut ab an Luxemburg :)

So strange; I wonder what caused the table to be set but never sat at. Like folks just got up and left with every intention of coming back but never did.

Come to think of it, many of these abandoned places have that feel. Things left scattered as if someone said "I'll take care of the mess lager." only there was no later.

It might not be so dramatic (all though it sometimes is). It might be that this house was opened for display, that the family allowed tourists to look at their home, like many old houses in England were used (family was getting a fee from it, most of the times). In such cases the rooms, for example a dinning room, were usually fully set with whatever would be their marks (and whatever would show the family in best light, of course). Dining sets weren't unusual sight, when it would come to table.

If the owner of this house used it for such thing, then decided to close the house, it would probably be left with all the things arranged in the same fashion they were in the time of closing. It would not be really common (even the seasonal hotel packs its furniture when they're not working), but if it happened suddenly, it might.
